Product Overview of Cryogenic Check Valves

Cryogenic Check Valves are specialized valves designed for use in cryogenic media (such as Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, liquid carbon dioxide, etc.) transmission systems. Their core function is to prevent the backflow of cryogenic media, protecting upstream equipment (e.g., cryogenic storage tanks, cryogenic pumps, vaporizers)  ensuring the stable  reliable operation of the cryogenic system under extreme conditions.

Key Features:

Cryogenic Materials: Primary components like the valve body  bonnet are made  cryogenic-grade austenitic stainless steel (e.g., SS304, SS316L), which offers excellent low-temperature impact toughness  effectively prevents brittle fracture.

Extended Bonnet Design: Features a long-neck bonnet structure that positions the stem packing box away  the cryogenic fluid. This ensures the packing temperature remains above 0°C (32°F), preventing it  freezing  failing, thus guaranteeing proper sealing  operation.

Specialized Sealing: Utilizes sealing materials suitable for low temperatures, such as modified PTFE, graphite,  stainless steel metal seals, to ensure reliable sealing performance in cryogenic environments.
