Product Definition

An internal & external thread two-valve manifold is an integrated process control manifold assembly. It consists of two independent shut-off valves (typically ball valves  needle valves) mounted onto a common valve body block. Its distinctive feature is that the two connection ends of the manifold employ different thread standards: one end has external threads (typically male),  the other has internal threads (typically female). This design facilitates connection to piping  instrumentation with different interface requirements.

Primary Function & Application

This manifold is primarily used on impulse lines for pressure transmitters, differential pressure (DP) transmitters, pressure gauges,  other process instrumentation. Its core functions are to provide isolation, calibration, venting,  draining for the instrument.

Isolation: Both valves can be closed to completely isolate the instrument  the process medium, allowing for maintenance  replacement.

Calibration: While isolated, technicians can perform in-line calibration  commissioning of the instrument without interrupting the process.
